The Police of Nepal is responsible for maintaining law and order and prevention of crime according to the constitution of Nepal and is under the authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs.There are four departments in the Police Headquarters that function to undertake the policing activities of Nepal Police. These departments are headed either by Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP) or Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP).

In addition to the departments, there are the National Police Academy and the Metropolitan Police Office that are being looked by Additional Inspector General of Police!

Selection Process

Registration

Candidates have to submit their application form according to their original documents in Nepal Police Camp.

Regional Selection

Physical Test and Medical Test.

Lok Sewa

Successful candidates at Regional Selection will be called forward for the Education Examination called LOK SEWA.

Interview

Only those are successful candidate’s form LOK SEWA have to face the interview.

Final Result

After interview selected candidates name will publish in the website of Nepal Police.

  1. • District Level Passed Documents.
PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS
  1. • Age : Minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years
  2. • Height : 5 feet and 2 inches minimum
  3. • Weight : Minimum 50 Kgs
  4. • Chest: 31 cm (expand upto 2cm)
