Nepali Army

The Nepalese Army (Nepali: नेपाली सेना) or Gorkhali Army (Nepali: गोर्खाली सेना) is the armed military land warfare force of Nepal available internationally and a major component of the Military of Nepal. Service is voluntary and the minimum age for enrollment is 18 years.

The army was known as The Royal Nepalese Army (RNA) during the monarchy system in Nepal. It was renamed the Nepalese Army in 28 May 2008 with the abolition of the 238-year-old monarchy!

Selection Process

Registration

Candidates have to submit their application form according to their original documents in Nepal Army Camp.

Regional Selection

Physical Test and Medical Test.

Lok Sewa

Successful candidates at Regional Selection will be called forward for the Education Examination called LOK SEWA.

Interview

Only those are successful candidate’s form LOK SEWA have to face the interview.

Final Result

After interview selected candidates name will publish in the Nepal Army Camp.

  1. • Original Citizenship of the applicant and their parents.
EDUCATION CERTIFICATES
  1. • District Level Passed Documents.
PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS
  1. • Age : Minimum 18 years and maximum 21 years
  2. • Height : 5 feet and 2 inches minimum
  3. • Weight : Minimum 50 Kgs
  4. • Chest: 31 cm (expand upto 2cm)
